TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Tournament Rules & Policies
Registration & Payment
- All entry fees are due by 5:00 PM on the Monday prior to the tournament or when the entered division reaches capacity, whichever occurs first.
- Any team with an unpaid balance will be removed from the tournament at the payment deadline or when the division fills and a waiting list exists.
- Payments may be made online through the registration system or via Cash App.
Tournament Administration
- Tournament management reserves the right to combine age groups or classifications when necessary to create a playable division. Examples include:
- Open & B
- B & C
- 9U & 10U
- 11U & 12U
- 13U & 14U
- 16U & 18U into High School Open (HSO)
Gate Admission
Daily admission is CASH ONLY.
Wristbands must be worn on the wrist for same-day re-entry. New wristbands are required each day.
Admission Rates
- Ages 14–59: $10
- Ages 60 and Veterans (with valid ID): $7
- Ages 5–13: $5
- Ages 4 and under: Free
Park Rules
Ice Chests
Ice chests are permitted for water and ice only.
Absolutely NO alcohol is permitted in any park.
Artificial Turf Rules
The following items are strictly prohibited on any artificial turf field:
- Steel cleats
- Metal spikes
- Shelled seeds
- Gum
Failure to comply will result in:
- Immediate stoppage of play
- A $250 cash fine, payable directly to the complex/city for cleaning or damages before play resumes
- Failure to pay will result in forfeiture of the game and removal from the tournament
These rules are non-negotiable. Please respect the facilities and help us keep our parks in excellent condition.

Coaches
- The first three (3) coaches admitted for each team will receive gate passes.
- Any additional coaches must pay regular gate admission.
- All coaches are required to have a current USSSA Background Check.
Game Format
Pool Play (All Divisions)
- Finish the inning
- Games may end in a tie
- 6-run limit per half inning
- Coin flip for home team
Run Rules
- 12 after 3 innings
- 10 after 4 innings
- 8 after 5 innings
- Or when the game is mathematically uncatchable
8U Rules
- Bunting, slapping, and drag bunts are permitted.
- Fake bunts are NOT allowed.
Bracket Play
6U & 8U
- 6-run limit per half inning
- Run Rules:
- 12 after 3
- 10 after 4
- 8 after 5
- Or mathematically uncatchable
8U: Bunting, slapping, and drag bunts are allowed. No fake bunts.
10U & Up – Open/B Class
- Unlimited runs per half inning
Run Rules:
- 15-run lead at the end of any inning
- 12 after 2
- 10 after 3
- 8 after 4
10U & Up – C Class
- 6-run limit per half inning
Run Rules:
- 12 after 3
- 10 after 4
- 8 after 5
- Or mathematically uncatchable
Game Times
Games may begin up to 30 minutes early if both teams are not currently playing on another field.
Be prepared to play ahead of schedule.
Tournament management reserves the right to:
- Shorten game times
- Implement drop-dead time in pool play
- Modify tournament format
- Adjust the number of games due to weather or unforeseen circumstances
Tiebreakers
The tournament uses LCAB (Last Completed At Bat) and the following format.
- 1st Inning: Bases loaded, 1 out
- 2nd Inning: Bases loaded, 2 outs
- 3rd Inning: Bases loaded, 2 outs, full count on the first batter
- All additional innings will follow the 3rd inning format.
Spectator Conduct
Per the USSSA Rulebook:
If a spectator is ejected, the team's Head Coach will also be ejected.
Game Balls
Each team is responsible for providing two (2) game balls to the umpire during the pregame plate meeting.
Acceptable game balls include:
- Blue-stamped USSSA Fastpitch balls
- Red-stitched balls with the proper core and compression markings
Teams should request the return of their game balls at the conclusion of the game.
A limited supply of game balls will be available for purchase.
Teams are responsible for retrieving foul balls promptly. The game clock will continue to run while waiting for game balls to be returned to the field of play.
Weather & Rainouts
Tournament officials continually monitor weather conditions and forecasts to make the safest and most appropriate decisions possible.
Please download the USSSA App and follow your team to receive tournament updates and schedule changes.
We also recommend purchasing travel insurance whenever staying in a hotel.
Tournament management reserves the right to:
- Shorten game times
- Use drop-dead time
- Modify game guarantees
- Adjust tournament format due to weather
Awards
Team Awards
- No 1st or 2nd Place Awards will be presented if the bracket is not completed.
- Up to 13 awards will be provided per team.
- Awards are based on the official tournament roster.
- Teams with fewer players will receive the corresponding number of awards.
- Teams with more than 13 players may receive additional awards only if extras are available after complete tournament distribution. Availability and matching awards cannot be guaranteed.
Refund Policy
Once registration closes:
- No refunds
- No tournament credits
except in the event of a complete tournament rainout.
Rainout Refund Schedule
Round Robins / Friendlies
- Once your first game starts, no refunds.
2GG, 3GG, & 4GG Events
- 1 game played: 20% refund
- 2 or more games played: No refund
5GG & Higher Events
- 1 game played: 35% refund
- 2 games played: 15% refund
- 3 or more games played: No refund
No refunds or credits will be issued to any team removed or ejected from the tournament.
Scores & Standings
All score discrepancies must be reported before the conclusion of pool play.
Once bracket seeding has been finalized, all posted scores and standings are considered official and will not be changed.
Concession Stands
Concession stands operate independently from tournament management and are responsible only for:
- Food & beverages
- Restrooms
- Field maintenance
